Perspective

too-many-attributes:perspectiveentity condition

True when a player's camera is in the given view. False for anything that isn't a player.

FieldTypeDefaultDescription
perspectiveStringrequiredfirst_person, third_person (either third-person view), third_person_back (behind the player) or third_person_front (facing the player).
  • Each player's game tells the server when they press F5, so the server knows within a tick or so. A player who just joined counts as first person until their game reports.
  • set_perspective changes it at once on the server.
  • On a player's own client it reads their camera directly. Other players count as first person there.
  • From Overgrown's Apoli: Overgrown also takes a list of views and the short names first, third, back and front. Here it's one full name.

Example: "Shy". While you look at yourself from the front, you're invisible.
